The refugee crisis in Turkey isn’t just a headline; it’s a daily reality for thousands of families. Turkey has taken in millions of refugees from Syria and other countries, but it is having a hard time meeting their needs. Many refugees, including Uyghurs, have a hard time fitting in and starting over in society.
These are some of the challenges refugees face in Turkey:
Your donation to assist individuals in Turkey can assist with these issues by providing assistance immediately and in the long term.
When you donate to support families in Turkey, you’re not just offering temporary relief. You’re investing in their future. The families we serve have faced unimaginable hardships, but through your support, they can begin to rebuild their lives with dignity.
Turkey has been very kind to take in millions of people who had to leave their homes, but it doesn’t have enough resources to keep doing so. You are a donor that local governments and international groups need to help them meet all of their needs. There are more and more refugees in Turkey, and if they don’t get enough help, their families could get even poorer, more alone, and more hopeless.
These facts show how bad things are:
Your contribution can directly alleviate some of these burdens by funding programs that target key areas of need food, education, healthcare, and housing.
Your donation goes directly to help refugee families in Turkey, including Uyghur and Syrian refugees who are very poor and have a lot of problems.
We work with well-known local groups, do evaluations on the ground, and keep donors up to date on how their money is being spent to make sure that every dollar is used wisely.
