Karachi is Burning. Families Need Help Now.

A massive fire in Karachi’s Gul Plaza has destroyed livelihoods and left families fighting for their lives.

The Crisis

Right now in Karachi, Pakistan, families are living through a nightmare.
A massive fire has engulfed Gul Plaza on MA Jinnah Road, tearing through more than 1,500 shops in one of the largest urban fires the city has seen in over a decade. Flames erupted across multiple sections at once, spreading uncontrollably through the multi‑storey complex and leaving people trapped with nowhere to escape.
Authorities have confirmed dozens of people missing, and community leaders fear 80 to 100 men, women, and children may still be inside. Rescue teams continue to search through smouldering debris as families wait in anguish, praying for news of their loved ones.
