Help Prevent Life-Threatening Malnutrition in Gaza

The Crisis:

Right now in Gaza, thousands of children are facing life-threatening hunger.

Ongoing conflict has made it incredibly difficult for families to access food, healthcare, and basic nutrition. As a result:

  • 132,000 children under five are expected to suffer from acute malnutrition by mid-2026
  • 41,000 children will face severe, life-threatening hunger without urgent treatment
  • 55,500 pregnant and breastfeeding women need nutrition support
  • 25,000 infants are at risk right now
Malnutrition weakens a child’s immune system, making common illnesses like pneumonia or diarrhea far more dangerous — and even deadly.
For babies and young children, this kind of hunger can become life-threatening in just a few weeks.
Mothers are also suffering too. Hospitals are already reporting more premature and low-birthweight babies, with 1 in 5 newborns now needing intensive care due to poor maternal nutrition.
Without early screening and treatment, malnutrition can cause permanent damage to a child’s growth, brain development, and long-term health.

Our Response

With your support, Droplets of Mercy USA is mobilizing life-saving nutrition assistance for vulnerable children and mothers before it’s too late. Through our trusted partner, this year we are expanding access to critical nutrition interventions that:

Your Impact

Your donation helps deliver life-saving nutrition to children and mothers who need it most.
Every contribution helps ensure children are screened early, mothers receive necessary supplements, and life-threatening malnutrition is treated before it’s too late.
Donate now to help protect a generation of children from the irreversible effects of hunger.
