From Loss to Light: Help Widows & Orphans Rebuild Their Future

When a mother loses her husband or a child loses their father, the world can feel unbearably heavy. But with your consistent monthly support, their story doesn’t have to end in hardship. It can begin again with hope.
Imagine waking up one day with everything gone… your spouse, your home, your sense of security. All that remains is your children, your faith in Allah, and the will to survive.
In Jordan, countless widows and orphans (Syrian, Palestinian, and others) face this reality every single day. They carry so much grief in their hearts. But together, we can carry them from survival into lives filled with comfort and independence.
Droplets of Mercy USA is helping build the Widow & Orphan Center in Amman to achieve this — a place that goes far beyond traditional orphan sponsorship.

Here, lives are being rebuilt with compassion at the core:

But perhaps the most inspiring part of this center is its vision.
The women and children it serves won’t just receive support, they’ll also help shape it. As the center grows, more of its programs will be led by widows and orphans themselves, creating a community built on empowerment instead of dependence.

Every month of your sponsorship sustains this ripple effect:

  • A child stepping on the bus to school
  • A widow earning her first dignified income
  • An orphan reciting Qur’an with confidence
  • A family finding comfort and safety

This is sadaqah jariyah, an ongoing charity that keeps multiplying.
The most powerful way to support their journey is to set up a recurring donation. Month after month, you become part of their story… their extended family.
