Yemen’s needs are vast and urgent. The conflict’s compounding shocks—violence, economic collapse, and infrastructure damage—have pushed families beyond the brink.
21.6 million people need humanitarian assistance, including women and children.
17+ million cannot afford sufficient food, fuelling acute and chronic malnutrition.
4.5 million are internally displaced—families living in temporary shelters or with host communities.
The health system is near collapse, with nearly half of facilities partially functioning or out of service.
Behind each number is a household rationing calories, skipping treatments, and deciding which child eats first. In this context, targeted action for the Yemen emergency crisis—food, water, medical care, and safe shelter—keeps families alive today and steadies them for tomorrow.

Imagine drawing water each day and not knowing whether it will heal or harm your family. That is the reality of the Yemen Water Crisis, where damaged infrastructure, fuel shortages, and contamination leave entire districts without safe sources.
16 million people lack access to clean water.
Thousands of children fall ill each year from preventable waterborne diseases like cholera and typhoid.
Mothers and children often walk hours to reach water—only to find it unsafe.
Clean water is more than a basic need here; it is the first line of defense against disease, the foundation of nutrition, and the prerequisite for education and livelihood. With your support, Droplets of Mercy USA delivers emergency water and invests in sustainable solutions that interrupt this cycle of illness and loss.
What safe water unlocks
For children: better health, school attendance, and the chance to learn without constant illness.
For mothers: time reclaimed from long walks, energy for income and caregiving, and the dignity of running a household safely.
For villages: a platform for growth—gardens, small enterprises, and community stability.

Your generosity powers a disciplined, transparent pathway from gift to impact—designed for speed today and steadiness tomorrow.
The humanitarian crisis in yemen is one of the world’s worst—and one of the most complex. Years of conflict have destroyed roads and clinics, driven up prices, and forced families to relocate multiple times. In many areas, aid is the only reliable safety net.
Droplets of Mercy USA is launching and scaling an emergency appeal to reach those suffering most. Our promise is practical and focused: deliver the right help, in the right place, at the right time—then keep showing up. With local partners who know each district’s realities, we prioritize families at greatest risk and coordinate distributions that are safe, dignified, and fast.
Our current priorities mirror the needs you shared:
In short: meet immediate needs without delay, and stabilize households so they can endure the
months ahead.
Relief that works is relief that listens, measures, and adapts. Our approach is simple, rigorous, and survivor-centered:
This cycle turns donations into steady, equitable relief during the humanitarian crisis in yemen.
Emergency water keeps families alive; sustainable water helps them live. With your support, we pursue both tracks:
In places where the Yemen Water Crisis is most acute, these layered steps reduce disease, return hours to families, and build resilience for the seasons ahead.
Itemized program reports, concise donor updates, and independent financial oversight.
Policies that protect beneficiaries, staff, and volunteers; complaint channels at distribution points.
Fair queueing, lighting where possible, and accessible locations that reduce risk for women and elders.
Not just “kits delivered,” but fewer clinic stockouts, fewer waterborne illnesses, and improved household food security.
Funds are directed to urgent priorities—food packs, clean water delivery, medical consumables, and shelter materials—coordinated with local partners where the needs are most acute.
Yes. You can note your intent to support water. We prioritize emergency deliveries and, where feasible, rehabilitation or solar-assist upgrades to community sources associated with the Yemen Water Crisis.
We work with community leaders and verified lists to prioritize households with children, elders, persons with disabilities, and families with the least income or those newly displaced.
If you designate Yemen, we honor that intent. Unrestricted gifts allow us to address life-threatening gaps as they emerge within the Yemen emergency crisis.
Donors receive concise program updates that summarize distributions, locations, and outcomes (for example, households served or clinic items restocked).
We adjust routes, schedules, and procurement plans quickly. Flexibility is built into operations so help continues despite shifting conditions in the humanitarian crisis in yemen.
